Plan now for your senior pictures for the east yearbook did you know that you could still register for an eschool summer course? the summer session will run from june 11th through july 27th. all course requests are done on the eschool website by selecting june 2007 as the requested start date. did you know that the appleton eschool partners with the virtual high school vhs ; and you can register for vhs courses for next year right now? this means that you have access to over 200 course offerings. some courses are semester courses and others are year long courses. check out the full vhs catalog : govhs pages academics-catalog the vhs courses have firm start and end dates. they are not available on a rolling continuous enrollment basis. registrations are now being accepted for the fall 2007 semester. these seats are available on a first come, first served basis. you can register vhs courses on the eschool website - locate the link for requesting a vhs course. did you know that you can also register for any fall eschool courses on the eschool website by selecting september 2007 as the start date? as the end of this school year approaches, many of this year's juniors look forward to their turn as seniors here at east. part of this experience is a senior portrait, in color, in the lantern senior photo section. many juniors have already begun the senior portrait process with area photography studios. in order to lend an air of formality and uniformity to the senior section, a color photo which conforms to the following standards is required: size 2 " x head and shoulders only no hands, props, friends, pets, etc. ; , traditional neutral, solid colored ; background, and uniform head size eyebrow to chin should be 3 4" area studios have been contacted and informed of our requirements and procedures for senior portraits that are to be included in the senior section. please remind your child's photographer of these requirements when you schedule your sitting. for those who do not purchase the services of a private photography studio, one of the wallet size photos from the regular fall back to school photographer is perfectly acceptable. if you wish to personally take your own senior portrait this is also an acceptable option. however, the picture will not be included in the yearbook if it does not fit the requirements specified above. as a reminder, to ensure inclusion into the 2008 lantern all senior portraits must be received at east high school no later than october 5th 2007.
